Dr Sue Ramoo graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and worked in general practice for 2 years, where she saw lots of dogs, cats, a few goats, some sheep and a couple of cows! During this time she developed an interest in internal medicine which led her to undertake an internship in critical care and internal medicine, which was followed by a 3 year residency at the University of Melbourne Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Sue has since worked in private referral practices across Melbourne and is well versed in all aspects of internal medicine. She has been published in various veterinary journals and herinterests include gastroenterology, endocrinology and oncology. Outside of work, Sue dabbles in floristry and cooking. She also loves food, wine and bush walking. At home, Sue has a 6 year old Border Terrier named Lizzie, and a Princess Parrot called Kayne.
It is great to have Dr Sue Ramoo available for in-clinic assessment of those more complicated medical cases.
Olga has 10 years’ experience as a Practice Manager and comes to us from Toronto, Canada where she spent 7 years on a working holiday visa. Olga is also a Certified Veterinary Technician and has a particular interest in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. It is Olga’s goal to make sure she knows each and every client and pet that comes through our door to make them all feel welcomed and a part of the Fitzroy family.
Olga lives with her 6 year old German Shepherd named Jixxer (who she bought with her from Canada) and a feisty white kitty called Mishka. Feel free to pop by and say hello, even if it’s for a chat or a treat for your furry companion!

Rachael is excited to share her passion for all animals by making sure all our feline friends have a loving and comfortable boarding experience while you are away. She will be ensuring that each and every feline friend gets outdoor exercise time, brushing, cuddles or whatever else they need. Away from work, Rachael volunteers at several animal rescue shelters and is also a paw-rent to a few cats and a dog.
We aim to provide the best possible care for your furry friend while you are away, so please pop in to meet Rachael who can show you our wonderful boarding facilities. We are more than happy to accommodate all your cat's needs and make the experience as positive and homely for them as we can. If you have any questions or wish to book a time with Rachael, please give our clinic a call.
