Speedy the Bearded Dragon's close call

Last month Fiztroy Vet Clinic helped out Derinya Primary School when one of the classes Bearded Dragon's was injured. "Speedy" was bitten on the right arm by his big brother dragon. The injury was so severe that the arm needed to be amputated.

Fitzroy and Cantebury Vet Clinic worked together to treat Speedy, and the Fitzroy nursing staff cared for and monitored Speedy's recovery closely. He is now back at school much to the children's delight, and has since been renamed "Stumpy".
