'Jed' presented at the clinic with a history of sneezing the past few days, which had worsened into a bloody nose. After a thorough examination a foreign body was seen in his right nostril. Lucky for 'Jed' Dr. Alex was able to remove a piece of twig from his nose.
Jed's recovery was very quick, hopefully he’ll keep his nose out of trouble in the future!!
Foreign bodies, most commonly grass seeds, are routinely removed from noses, ears & feet. Remember to always check your pet regularly after walks. Long- haired dogs in particular should be checked and groomed especially between the toes.
